Ask Pri

A sports research assistant that checks injuries, lineups, and context before you analyze. It helps you ask better questions — not tell you what to bet.

Ask Pri is available on Pro (150 questions/month) and Pro+ (500 questions/month). See all plans.

The problem it solves

Historical data is only useful if you know what's happening today. A player prop based on 60 games of history looks very different if that player is playing through an ankle injury, or if their star teammate is out and they're picking up extra usage.

Before you build your analysis card, you need context. Ask Pri gives you that context in seconds — using live web search to pull today's injury reports, lineup news, and rotation updates.

Example questions

Is Giannis Antetokounmpo listed as questionable tonight?
What's the Celtics' starting lineup for tonight's game?
How many minutes has Anthony Davis been averaging in the last 10 games?
Is tonight a back-to-back for the Lakers?
What does Jayson Tatum's usage rate look like in playoff games?
Who's been picking up the scoring load while Jimmy Butler is out?

What Pri can do — and what it won't

Ask Pri can help with

  • Today's injury reports and player availability
  • Current rotation and lineup news
  • Recent minutes trends and usage patterns
  • Back-to-back schedules and rest situations
  • Playoff matchup history and usage context
  • General NBA stats, rules, and concepts
  • Betting concepts like break-even percentages

Ask Pri will not

  • Give picks or bet recommendations
  • Predict what will happen tonight
  • Tell you whether to bet over or under
  • Guarantee any outcome

How it works

Live web search
When you ask about a player's status or tonight's lineup, Pri uses live web search to pull the most current information available — injury reports, beat reporter updates, and official team announcements. Answers include a "Web · Research" badge when they're sourced from live search.
Multi-turn conversations
Ask follow-up questions without repeating context. "What about the second game of the back-to-back?" works naturally — Pri remembers what you were discussing.

The right way to use Pri

Ask Pri first, then analyze. The workflow PriCalc is built for is: check what's happening tonight with Pri, then run your historical analysis with the right context in mind. If Pri tells you a player is managing an injury and their minutes trend shows a 10% dip, that changes how you read a 62%–75% historical range.

Pri is available from any page inside PriCalc — the analyze dashboard, the landing page, and within Range Radar. You don't have to navigate away to get context.
