Your Privacy at PriCalc

This Privacy Policy explains what information PriCalc collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices and rights you may have.

PriCalc is a sports prop research platform. We are not an advertising business, and we do not sell your personal information.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors, free users, and paid subscribers of PriCalc.

PriCalc is intended for users age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have done so, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

Information you provide directly

  • name and email address from Google sign-in or other authentication providers
  • account profile information
  • prop inputs and research inputs you enter
  • screenshots, images, or files you upload
  • questions and prompts you submit to Pri
  • support messages or other communications you send us
  • billing-related information needed to manage your subscription, though full payment card details are handled by our payment processor

Information collected automatically

  • usage data, such as features used, analyses run, and activity within the service
  • device and browser information, such as browser type, operating system, IP address, and approximate session metadata
  • analytics events and product interaction data
  • cookies or similar technologies used for authentication, preferences, security, and analytics

Information we generally do not collect directly

  • full payment card numbers, CVV codes, or full card details
  • passwords when authentication is handled through third-party OAuth providers

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve PriCalc
  • authenticate users and manage accounts
  • process subscriptions and billing
  • operate Pri and other AI-enabled features
  • analyze usage, debug issues, prevent abuse, and improve performance
  • respond to support requests and communicate with users
  • send transactional messages, such as billing notices, account notices, and policy updates
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent personal information to third parties.

4. Service Providers and Processors

We use third-party service providers to help operate PriCalc. These may include:

  • Stripe for billing and payment processing
  • Supabase for authentication, database infrastructure, and storage
  • PostHog for analytics and product usage insights
  • OpenAI or other AI providers for Pri and related AI features
  • Google for authentication
  • sports data and odds-data providers used to power product features

These providers process data on our behalf as needed to provide their services to us.

5. Pri and AI Processing

When you use Pri, we may send the following to our AI provider:

  • your prompt or question
  • relevant product context needed to generate a response
  • uploaded materials when directly relevant to the feature you are using

We do not intentionally include unnecessary personal information in Pri requests.

Under our current configuration, OpenAI business/API data is not used to train models by default unless a customer affirmatively opts in. If our AI-provider setup changes in a way that materially changes this practice, we will update this Privacy Policy.

Because Pri is meant for sports research, you should not include sensitive personal information, financial account information, or anything else you would not want transmitted to a third-party processor.

6. Uploads and User Inputs

Uploads, screenshots, and other inputs are used to provide the requested feature, such as parsing, research context, or support.

We may retain uploads and related processing records only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the feature, maintain service integrity, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, comply with law, or resolve disputes. We do not use uploaded screenshots for advertising.

7. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, user preferences, and analytics.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to maintain your account, provide the service, comply with law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

In general:

  • account and subscription information may be retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward
  • analytics and operational logs may be retained for a limited period consistent with product, security, and support needs
  • uploaded files and Pri logs may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above

If you request deletion of your personal information, we will take reasonable steps to honor that request, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs.

9. Legal Bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we process personal information on the basis of:

  • performance of our contract with you
  • our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving PriCalc
  • compliance with legal obligations
  • consent, where consent is required

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain personal information, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To make a privacy request, contact support@pricalc.io.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those locations may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the service or by email. Your continued use of PriCalc after the updated policy becomes effective means you accept the revised policy.
